Waldorf-Inspired Baby Doll Making Workshop
A Two-Day Workshop in Warrandyte-

Come and join me as I guide you step by step through the journey of bringing your own doll to life.

In order to create an heirloom doll that will be cherished for generations, all materials are included and carefully selected in keeping with Steiner principles, using natural fibres and organic materials of the utmost quality.

This is a full two-day workshop held across two Sundays:

Sunday 11th October & Sunday 18th October
9:30am – 5:30pm

Please note that attendance on both days is essential to allow enough time to complete your doll.

Over these two gentle and creative days, I will guide you through the making of your own heirloom Waldorf-inspired baby doll.

You will learn how to:

• Stuff your doll with wool
• Roll and shape the head
• Attach the limbs
• Cover the head with skin fabric
• Embroider the facial features
• Assemble the head, limbs, and body
• Attach the wig securely

You will also have the option to add sweet little details such as a nose, dimples on the knees and elbows, and a little belly button.

Personalising Your Doll

You will be able to choose your doll’s:

• Skin tone
• Hair colour
• Eye colour

After booking, you will receive an email with the available colour options. Please make your selections promptly so I have enough time to prepare your doll body and wig before the workshop.

As there will most likely not be enough time during the workshop to make clothing, I will send you clothing patterns in advance so you can sew a wardrobe for your doll at home if you wish.

On the Day

Morning and afternoon tea will be provided on both workshop days.

Please bring your own lunch, as there may not be enough time to go out during the break.

You may also wish to bring some extra money if you would like to:

• Add the optional weight to your doll ($30)
• Purchase a hand-knitted wool cardigan for your doll ($25)

Before the Workshop

When booking your place, please let me know:

• Whether you would like to make a boy or girl doll (so I can send the appropriate clothing pattern)
• Your preferred skin tone
• Your preferred hair colour

Optional Weighted Doll

A small pouch of tiny glass beads can be added inside your doll’s body so that it feels a little heavier—more like holding a real baby

Terms & Conditions

• Workshop bookings are non-refundable.
• If there are insufficient numbers for the workshop to proceed, all payments will be fully refunded.
• If I am unable to run one of the workshop days due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, a replacement date will be organised as soon as possible.
